Delegationen aus Trier und unserer Verbindungsstell besuchten vom 15. bis 20.09.2004 New York, wo man an der allj\u00e4hrlichen Steuben-Parade teilnahm. Nach Anreise am 15.09., erfolgte ein Spaziergang in der City von Manhatten, u. a. Times Square und Empire State  Building.<br \/>\nAm folgenden Tag wurde das NYPD-Museum, anschl. die Polizei-Akademie, das 13. Revier und weiter die Einsatzkommandotruppe besucht.<br \/>\nAm Freitag, 17.09. stand ein Rathaus-Besuch mit anschl. Zeremonie zus. mit dem B\u00fcrgermeister von NY und dem sp\u00e4teren Besuch von \u201cGround Zero\u201d auf dem Programm. <!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Die Steuben-Parade, der eigentliche H\u00f6hepunkt, fand am Samstag, 18. Sept. statt. Hier durfte unsere Gruppe, sichtlich stolz, in erster Reihe marschieren &#8211; siehe Fotos.<br \/>\nAm Sonntag wurde ein typisches \u201cOom pah pah Fest\u201d in einem Biergarten auf Long Island besucht. Leider musste schon am Montag die R\u00fcckreise angetreten werden. Fazit: Ein weiterer Besuch in der Metropole ist ein Muss.
